Personality:
Logan is a bit of a distant man, grouchy, easy to anger but oddly loyal kind of man. He’s a good kind of guy to have as a friend or at least on your side, and someone you wouldn’t want to be on the bad side of. He’s gruff and tough and willing to do the dirty work as long as it gets done. He has a soft side as well, though it’s hard to find.
The first thing you should know about Logan is that he’s not lived a very nice life. When he was young he was sick often until his mutant powers kicked in. From there he was on the run with his brother for most his life, going from war to bloody war. He worked as a mercenary for so many years as well as so much blood and pain that it wore him pretty thin. Not to mention the betrayal of the people he worked closest with and the betrayal of his brother as well. Thus he’s not someone who likes to get close to others.
The times he HAS gotten close (be it love or friendship) have always somehow ended in painful betrayals or death, and in some cases both. He’s a loyal person who tends to stick with the people he has promised to protect or look after, so when those people turn on him it hits him pretty low. You would think this was enough to shut him off from the outside world after all this time, but for some reason he still finds himself letting people get close. A majority of these people who get close are ladies who holds his interest, young girls who are lost and alone and need a protector or just children in general.
He has a soft spot for children. They tend to be endearing to him for some reason, always managing to find a way to work in under his walls and defenses. Even the strongest young person who really doesn’t need protecting often can work their way into Logan’s ‘parental’ defenses. As much as he complains about it, he doesn’t mind the school or all the younger ones that seem to attach to him through his life and adventures.
Even with all of this he tends to run alone. A loner by nature but also forced upon himself. Perhaps it’s a bit of internal fear of the others getting hurt, but sometimes it’s just easier to run away and hide or be alone. It’s a hell of a lot less annoying at least. After all it takes awhile for him to trust people in the first place, and longer still for him to want to settle down in one place when those people could get hurt just by his own presence. He doesn’t want anyone to be hurt because of him unless those people deserve it.
Logan has a short temper. Very short. Though he is getting better at controlling that, he tends to get riled up easy and likes to take his temper out to play. He’s known to be able to hold his moods back once in a while and isn’t -always- the first to jump into action, but he’s damn well good at stepping out recklessly to take the first punch. Don’t call him chicken. Don’t kick him in the balls. He doesn’t like it and will correct your shit for you. This temper paired with his claws is a deadly combination.
Now, with all his trust issues and his odd loyalties, he actually does work pretty well in teams and groups. If you asked him he would rather be a lone Wolverine, thanks, but in a pinch he can manage to fight pretty well as a group. It’s not that he tries to hog the spotlight or even want out of the spotlight, but it comes back to not wanting others to be hurt because of him, o around him. Teams tend to get in the way, or so he thinks. Still, he works well in a team (if not a bit socially awkward and very snappy).
When wounded he’s a bit growly, rathering to fix it alone, and thankfully his body will heal on its own, for the most part. When friends are hurt however he wants to not only fix them but break the face of whoever hurt them. He’s not afraid to step in and hurt a person, and though he could kill people with ease he’d rather not have to.
In short he’s not a bad guy but tends to be standoffish and a bit of a loner who deep down doesn’t like being alone, or at least tends to gravitate towards people without his consent. In a setting like this he will do pretty well, for not only his talents in worldly survival, his temper and attitude, but also his bonding tendencies. He’ll be reluctant to find a crew or group of people to work with, but in the end I’m sure he’ll make an excellent crew member, as long as he can connect with those people.
Fears:
For a man that seems so fearless he does have a laundry list of fears. First of all, and possibly the biggest ‘issue’ he has are his missing memories. At this canon point he’s starting to collect old memories as it is, but there are still gaps and holes. He doesn’t know what he’s done in the past and that scares him. Honestly, he could have done a LOT of damage and not even know it. After learning who his brother was and what things HE’S done it brings up a lot of concerns. In game I would actually love for him to start collecting more of his memories, especially the bad ones (and lets face it, most of them are bad, the man lived a traumatic life).
He fears getting close to people and betrayal, because that is a huge theme in his damn life. A HUGE theme. He’s lost so many people he loved either to death or betrayal or both. It’s made him try to distance himself from others, though it hardly works. He has a heart and tends to pick up strays often enough.
He has nightmares. Or fragments of memories from the past that he is not pleased with that haunt him. Things he can’t always remember when he wakes up. Some he can. He also has a Jean Gray stuck in his head, haunting him from her death. He killed her and he regrets it, deeply. When he sleeps she comes to him and talks. Sometimes good, sometimes with blame. She wants him to find a way to die and join her so shes not alone. He owes her that. This haunting, dream or nightmare in his head bothers him when he is awake because he’s not sure if it’s real or not. He’s not sure if he’s just crazy or if she’s really apart of his mind after her death. If this is just another way for the Phoenix to be reborn or not.
He HATES losing control. He doesn’t like the feel of having to stand by and watch and be able to do nothing. It makes him angry and rageful. He doesn’t like seeing innocent people hurt, especially not because of or for him. He’s got a bit of a sacrificers complex and would rather take their place any day. After all, he can’t really die.
Weaknesses:
He’s got a few. First... his body is made up of metal. Anything or anyone with magnetic control pretty much can do as it wants with him. He’s a puppet at that point. Or in a case of magnetics he’s a lead weight. I would consider his missing memories a weakness. He has nightmares and traumas in his past that he can’t remember and they are always cropping up on him some way or another. These lacking memories have been used against him time and time again.
He gets angry, real easy. goes into Berserker mode easy enough. Thouse this hasn’t been said in movies, it’s still what it is. He gets blind with rage from time to time and will fight the hard battled tooth and claw. Generally it’s best to just stay out of his way, though people he knows can distract him enough to calm him down.
He has a high metabolism! Which means he eats more than a normal human should, and eating does help recharge him! Though he can go days without food just fine, he’s less grouchy that way.
He smokes cigars! Though that’s not really an addiction or anything s it’s not much of a weakness, but he has a weakness to a good cigar if he finds one.
He has a weakness to children too. For the most part, he’ll do what he can to protect them. He likes them, even if he appears to be annoyed by them. A child in danger is more upsetting than anything else, though he’s not the paternal type, and babies are not for him to hold. It’s this reason he’s pretty good with students at the school... but he also doesn’t let himself get attached to them.

Sample RP post:
When he wakes up, it’s to a bright room that he’s never seen before. It bothers him, looking up at the ceiling and not knowing where he was again. One minute he was dealing with finding food and supplies, the next he was dropped carefully into sleep, only to wake up in the wrong place.
The problem was, he wasn’t sure if he was awake or asleep. That happened sometimes, though generally if he was asleep, Jean was rolling over beside him, leaning in to kiss him hello and greet him in some sadistic way that twisted his gut into knots.
Now? A room full of masks. He sat up, looking around the room. His clothing was clean, unlike the night before when the house decided to throw twisted creatures his way. Hell, his hair was clean now too. “Thanks, bub.” He mumbled, as if talking to the house or some unseen ghost that had done it. In dreams, too, he tended to be cleaned up, so this didn’t help.
Rolling out of the bed he sat on it’s edge, looking around. A room full of masks. He’d glanced in here before this, but never really stopped in.
Still in the house then.
Alright. He could handle that. This whole waking up somewhere else thing was getting old though. Slipping out of the bed fully he stretched, eyes looking around to make sure he was alone. A sniff here or there told him how many people were near, or had been in here recently. He’d gathered the scent of those creatures, but not much else. These houses messed with his sense of smell far too often to trust it fully.
Disliking the situation, he grumped, annoyed, and started to head out of the room, pausing to reach out and flick a mask off the wall, as if to give the house a single ‘Fuck you’ before leaving the room. This place could kiss his ass.

Mundane Strengths/Abilities:
For a full list of powers and abilities please look at his wiki link in his history.
Instantaneous Regeneration:
Also known as his healing factor. depending on how severe the wound is he can heal within seconds or hours. Stripped down to his bones, he can still regenerate back to normal health. He can be killed, but given time his system will regenerate and bring him back to life. Because of the Adamantium grafted to his bones this helps with his indestructibility.
Reduced Aging Process:
Because of his healing factor it seems he’s slowed in the aging process as well. There is a possibility that he has stopped aging, or slowed to a point that it’s almost not noticeable.
Poison Resistance:
High tolerance to poisons and tranquilizers, drugs and alcohols. This isn’t to say he can’t be affected by them, but it takes a lot more to do anything at all, and poisons that generally kill a person might just make him mildly sick. A single tranquilizer might take out a normal person but Wolverine simply gets a bit groggy and shrugs it off. He drinks alcohol by the bottle to feel much of anything but never gets to a ‘drunk’ status.
Retractable Bone Claws:
His natural born mutant power was to grow retractable bone claws that would regenerate if broken. This and his healing factor are his genetic mutation. Three spare sharp bones shoot from between the four knuckle joints, extending well past his hand. If broken off they will regenerate. These bones retract back into his arm.
Adamantium Skeleton:
The Weapon X Program grafted Adamantium to his bones making him indestructible. the bone claws are now covered in perfect sharp blades, still three of which shoot out of his knuckles. His entire bone structure is covered in this metal, leaving him indestructible BUT also vulnerable to opponents with magnetically aligned powers or metal control powers. He has control over how fast or slow he can draw his claws out, as well as how many at once.
Superhuman Advances:
Strength, Speed, Endurance, Reflexes, Agility, Senses, Weather adaption.
Unlike normal humans his mutant DNA that helps his healing factor also assists in his health, age and general abilities. He can run faster, most better, and lift large things with ease. He has high stamina and endurance, a high resistance to different elements and temperatures as well as enhanced senses. Taste, touch, smell, hearing and sight are all high above most other humans. Like an animal he can track things on the wind. His senses enable him to ‘feel’ danger on the air, much like an animal. He can almost get a picture like image in his mind of situations that might have occurred a while before, mostly from smell and sense.
Hand to Hand Combat and Stealth Skills:
Excellent hand to hand combat skills learned from years of experience from wars, cage-fighting and other military trainings. Heavy fisted (thanks to adamantium bone structure), fast with hard impact. Has learned several fighting disciplines but tends to fight like a street fighter. Not scared to use the dirty tricks if needed to win a fight. He’s trained as a mercenary and has the skills of one. Stealthiness comes in that territory though he tends to be a meet you head on kind of guy.
Vehicle Control + Weapons:
Handles a motorcycle like a pro, able to drive at high speeds in the worst conditions with expert control. This could possibly extend to cars and other vehicles. Can handle tinkering on cars, trucks and bikes. Likes to work with mechanical things. As for weapons? He can use them, clean them, knows a lot about them, but he doesn’t tend to use them that often. He has used a sword before, though he doesn’t remember a lot about that either, and in the end, why bother? He has six short blades in his hands anyhow.
Sensitivity/Magical Ability:
None!
